Vanellope Von Schweetz Cosplay (part 4: the car)
Time for the finish! Paint, glitter, and CANDY!! (ok, most of it isn’t really candy. It’s plastic candy. Original plan was to put real candy on it. But a real concern of candy falling off the car, and kids would pick them up and eat it. So, we opted for fake candy instead.)
Completed. Well.. not really.. but, it’s good enough for Fan Expo 2013
Vanellope Von Schweetz Cosplay (part 3: the car)
The car would be made of exercise foam again (like the Zaku helmets). It proved to be a great material to work with. Has all the great properties for a child’s costume. Cheap, durable, lightweight, paintable, and easy to work with.

The tires that were in the movie were made of gummy worms. For my car, it’ll be made of swimming noodles.
